Qualifications
- 1–5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration or a related human resources function.
- Working knowledge of employment, payroll, and benefits regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with HRIS and payroll platforms.
- Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to support employees and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Support the administration of employee benefits programs, including health coverage, retirement offerings, wellness initiatives, and supplemental benefits.
- Monitor regulatory updates and industry developments to ensure benefit programs remain compliant and competitive.
- Communicate benefits information to employees through informational sessions and direct support, addressing questions and concerns.
- Manage full-cycle payroll processing with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather, review, and validate timekeeping and payroll data, resolving discrepancies as needed.
- Ensure adherence to applicable local, state, and federal payroll laws and tax requirements.
- Maintain and optimize payroll systems, incorporating updates and process improvements.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records related to payroll, benefits enrollment, and employee data.
- Prepare routine and ad-hoc reports for internal stakeholders, analyzing payroll costs, benefits usage, and related metrics.
- Compile and submit required filings and reports to regulatory agencies in accordance with compliance standards.
- Liaise with benefits and payroll vendors to ensure service quality, system efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
- Partner with external service providers and internal teams to improve workflows and system integrations.
- Serve as a primary contact for employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Provide hands-on support during open enrollment and assist employees with issue resolution and guidance.
