Overview
The Sales & Events Manager at Hotel Ella is responsible for leading the property's sales and event efforts with a focus on driving guest room revenue, meetings, private dining, weddings, social events, and food and beverage sales. This role serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and contracted clients, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation and solicitation through contract negotiation, event planning, and final execution.
The position is expected to build and maintain strong client relationships, actively prospect for new business, respond to inquiries in a timely manner, conduct site tours, prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and secure signed agreements that support the hotel’s revenue goals.
This role works closely with hotel leadership and operational teams to develop event concepts, align client expectations with hotel capabilities, and ensure seamless communication from booking to event completion. Responsibilities include reviewing banquet event orders, coordinating room blocks, meeting space, catering details, rental needs, timelines, and special requests, while partnering with operations, food and beverage, and other departments to deliver a high-quality guest and client experience.
The Sales & Events Manager is also responsible for maintaining accurate sales records, tracking pace and production, managing account activity, and contributing to forecasting, budgeting, and strategy discussions related to group and event business.
