Summary

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills by providing guidance, coaching, and direction to Front Office, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage associates.
  • Lead shifts in any of the three departments offering “on the floor” support, including but not limited to: leading pre-shifts, assigning daily duties, covering breaks, and assisting with hands-on service to meet business demands.
  • Assist senior leadership by undertaking basic management responsibilities such as training, scheduling, payroll management, expense control, and conducting interviews.
  • Oversee the guest registration process, communicate hotel services, and ensure guest inquiries are promptly addressed.
  • Handle various forms of payment accurately and efficiently.
  • Conduct guest room inspections, support public area and houseperson duties.
  • Assist event operations, including meeting room setups, client support, and service for catered events.
  • Maintain open and clear communication channels with both guests and fellow team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among front office associates.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and sanitation regulations in all hotel areas.

Qualifications

  • Refined verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Previous hotel Front Office experience preferred
  • Previous Food & Beverage Experience preferred
  • Micros Simphony Experience preferred
  • Experience with Opera preferred
  • Previous leadership/supervisor experience preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes: mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skillset
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Service oriented style with professional presentation skills
  • Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal, administrative skills
