Housekeeping Supervisor

The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily housekeeping operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and quality standards throughout the hotel. This role supervises housekeeping staff, manages workflow, and ensures exceptional guest satisfaction.

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housemen, and laundry personnel
• Conduct inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards
• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, providing guidance on performance and development
• Schedule staff and manage workflow to meet occupancy needs and operational demands
• Respond to guest requests, complaints, and special needs promptly and professionally
• Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment; submit orders as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety, sanitation, and hotel policies
• Assist with onboarding new housekeeping team members
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations

• Previous housekeeping or supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and procedures
• Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30-40 lbs

• Indoor hotel environment, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
• Fast-paced hospitality setting with frequent guest interaction
