Banquet Set Up Supervisor

White Lodging develops and operates a portfolio of award‑winning, premium‑brand hotels, rooftop bars, and restaurants in some of the country’s best cities. As Banquet Set Up Supervisor, you will lead the banquet set‑up team to ensure flawless execution of events, creating memorable experiences for every guest.

• Supervise banquet house persons and oversee staffing levels to ensure timely and efficient event set‑up and breakdown.
• Assign duties to team members, schedule shifts, and monitor performance to maintain service levels within labor models.
• Ensure proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms are available and in good condition for all associates.
• Assist in training, interviewing, and onboarding new associates while reinforcing a positive team culture.
• Oversee meeting room set‑up, tear down, and refreshes according to banquet event orders (BEOs) and handle last‑minute requests.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of banquet areas, storerooms, and equipment while following all health and safety standards.

• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to train and guide a team.
• Ability to perform all banquet set‑up functions and operate industrial equipment such as vacuums and buffers.
• Knowledge of emergency procedures, safety protocols, and compliance with workplace standards.
• TIPS Certification and completion of required training, including Chemical and Bloodborne Pathogen training.
• A commitment to professionalism, teamwork, and delivering excellent guest service.
