Austin Cosmetic Surgery | Austin, TX PRN | Tuesdays + Some Wednesdays $27–$30/hour (Based on Experience)

Austin Cosmetic Surgery is seeking a skilled and dependable PRN Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to support our high-volume cosmetic surgery practice. We are a structured, luxury private practice serving an exclusive and discerning patient population while maintaining hospital-level safety standards within a boutique environment.

This role requires precision, strong sterile technique, and the ability to function confidently in a fast-paced surgical setting.

Requirements

Active CST certification through NBSTSA

Minimum 3 years of operating room experience

Prior surgical center experience required

Plastic surgery experience strongly preferred

Advanced instrument knowledge is considered higher-level experience

Current BLS certification

Strong autoclave and sterilization workflow knowledge

Thorough understanding of sterile technique and surgical field protection

Clinical Expectations

Boutique cosmetic surgery requires smooth surgical flow and strong team communication. We are seeking a CST who values accountability, precision, and culture fit.

Tuesdays required

Some Wednesdays

PRN structure with consistent weekly scheduling

There is an opportunity for growth into additional hours or a full-time role following the introductory period, based on performance, reliability, and team alignment.

Operational Consideration

Due to the nature of surgical scheduling and patient safety standards, candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the practice (generally within 10–15 miles) to support punctuality and operational reliability.

Compensation & Benefits

$27–$30/hour based on experience

PRN weekly scheduling (Tuesdays + some Wednesdays)

Full employee health insurance covered by the employer (available at next enrollment date for eligible full-time transition)

PTO and paid federal holidays are available upon transition to full-time status
