Position: Laboratory Specimen Processor I - Shift 2 (Sign On Bonus)

* LOCATION:

Austin, TX 78728  2nd SHIFT: 3:00pm - 11:30pm;
Tuesday - Saturday; 10% Shift Differential  FULL TIME:
Benefits Eligible    Sign On Bonus Available  
**** In this role, you will:
*** Open and verify check shipper sample types and ensure empty
* Complete Specimen receipt logs
* Specimen Receipt and forward problem samples/orders to exception handling
* Identify Issues (Ordering, Labeling, Specimen)
* Ali quoting of samples
* Discard, Archive (All of storage components)
* End of shift checklist: benches, staging and archiving units, shippers, biohazard bins##
** All you need is:
*** Associate Degree or Phlebotomy Certification with High School Diploma
* Strong reading, writing, and analytical skills
* Typing proficiency, including 10-key
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
** Bonus points if you've got:
*** Bachelor's Degree in a biological science or certification in a medical program technologist program
* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing
* Data entry experience in a laboratory production environment##
