Overview

Independent Identity (II) is a startup non-profit in Austin, TX. II is a community- and center- based day program for clients 18+ with autism or intellectual and developmental disabilities who are struggling with challenging behaviors such as aggression, property destruction, or self-injury. Clients receive ABA therapy embedded into their day program based upon a treatment plan written by a supervising BCBA.

Job Summary

The Apprentice Behavior Analyst provides direct services and behavioral support to clients while actively developing their clinical skills under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). This role combines hands‑on client interaction with supervised clinical responsibilities, including conducting assessments, assisting in treatment and behavior plan development, data analysis, and progress monitoring. The Apprentice Behavior Analyst is accruing supervised fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification.

Works directly with clients to implement ABA-based programming while also participating in the clinical processes of program design, data analysis, and evaluation under supervisi
