Position SummaryDirector of Outpatient Services – is accountable for leadership and strategic management, including ensuring the strategic direction and planning of outpatient program services, program marketing, and referral development activities. In collaboration with the CNO, Medical Director, and Director of Clinical Services, this position assesses, develops, implements, and evaluates program philosophy, goals, objectives, and treatment interventions.
ResponsibilitiesThe Director of Outpatient Services provides the leadership necessary for successful program development and maintenance through appropriate, organized, and program-focused referral development activities. The director oversees clinical, administrative, and service line operations, ensuring compliance with policy, procedure, scope of practice, and regulatory requirements, while developing professional staff and maintaining a culture of quality, safety, and patient-centric care.
Qualifications- Education:
Master’s degree in Behavioral Health area from an accredited college or university. - Licensure/Certification:
State licenses in Texas – LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, preferably LCSW or LPC–Supervisor. - Experience:
At least 5 years clinical experience in the psychiatric/mental health field. Preferred:
At least 3 years in a lead/managerial capacity.
