• Melbourne Mental Health is a service complex located in the Inner East (Hawthorn) providing consultation rooms and administrative services for independent psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers to provide outstanding mental health services in a professional atmosphere of warmth and support. It is psychiatrist-led by Dr Steven Chau (rated #1 on RateMDs accurate as on December 4, 2022). There is current availability for a like-minded psychiatrist who shares our strong values and wants to provide impeccable patient care.
• Team: There are 12 psychiatrists, 1 mental health GP, 6 psychologists and 1 social worker located at Melbourne Mental Health.

• Location: Prestigious Auburn Road (Hawthorn) provides easy patient access via public transport, ample street parking, nearby parking for clinicians and local shops/cafes.
• Environment: There are 7 spacious consulting rooms over two levels with a comfortable waiting area on both floors. Additional facilities include a large meeting room and kitchen. Curated renovations and furnishings have been designed for exceptional comfort to enhance the therapeutic space.

• We provide full turn‑key service (logistics, booking, billings, typing, debt reconciliation, etc) so that you can focus solely on patient care and earn a healthy income without being tied down by administrative tasks.
• New psychiatrists will benefit from an instant and large referral base (~500 per month) formed by Dr Chau’s outstanding reputation, valuable mentoring, practice efficiencies honed through nearly a decade of experience and upskilling in ADHD, PTSD and addiction (if desired).
• Experienced psychiatrists can maximise financial efficiency through astute secretarial systems, avoidance of inpatient admissions and opportunity for future equity buy‑in and retirement planning.
• In‑depth training, orientation and ongoing support is personally provided by Dr Steven Chau to ensure you have a seamless experience in providing private patient care.
• Monthly peer group meetings provide ongoing support, a deep sense of collegiality and help ensure best practices are always maintained.
• Support team: Hand‑picked, long‑term team led by an experienced manager to provide exemplary and complete administrative support so you can practice with ease.

• Interest/Experience in ADHD is highly valued but not mandatory.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
• Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
