Front Desk Associate

Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin is hiring a full-time Front Desk Associate for our Registration department in Austin, TX. As a Front Desk Associate (Receptionist) for OSA, you will be responsible for coordinating daily activities of our facility to ensure smooth operations.

This position will be responsible for covering shifts at our Hyde Park and Lakeway locations.

• Coordinating daily activities of our facility to ensure smooth operations.
• Scheduling procedures and office appointments, reception, bookkeeping and other clerical support duties with emphasis on customer service.
• Covering shifts at our Hyde Park and Lakeway locations.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Registration experience preferred.
• Checking out patient once seen by the provider.
• Scheduling tests and follow up appointments.
• Educating patient on their next treatment step as provided by the provider.
• Strong computer literacy, typing ability and knowledge of medical terminology.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Skill in communicating effectively with physicians and clients.
• Electronic medical record experience preferred.
