Responsibilities
Universal Health Services (UHS) and Austin Oaks Hospital are seeking qualified, energetic candidates for current job openings. Responsibilities for Therapist-Part Time Weekend at Inpatient Hospital include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and write treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats.
- Serve as a liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies.
- Assess, design, structure, and implement therapeutic services that best meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Work collaboratively as a treatment team member and operate under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Director.
- Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or be under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A). Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred.

Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field. - Licensure / Certification

Current State Licensure. Current CPR or BLS certification. Aggressive Behavior Management training within 90 days of hire date. Is deemed a Qualified Mental Health Provider (QMHP). - Experience

Required:
At least 6 months of work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management, and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility; familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect. Prior inpatient psychiatric experience preferred.
