Job Summary
The Children's Crisis Respite QMHP is responsible for ensuring the provision of recovery-focused, person-centered care with a trauma-informed perspective. This position operates in a dynamic environment, performing case management, assessment, and/or service coordination work based on the program's guidelines. Duties include providing continuity of care services, supervising and ensuring safety of assigned youth, implementing program schedule and scheduled therapeutic recreational activities, transporting clients to community outings as needed, maintaining a clean and orderly respite house environment, linking consumers and families to needed resources, coordinating, monitoring, and updating services and goals.
The QMHP also provides skills training, assists in crisis prevention, and participates in community outreach. As a team member within the children's crisis respite unit, the QMHP uses assessments, multidisciplinary coordination, and efficient clinical utilization of agency resources to address immediate mental health crises and plan for future relapse prevention. Regular, predictable attendance is essential; flexible work schedule may be required.
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree, majoring in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or a related field.
- Current and valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Relief schedule; as needed (workdays and work hours).
CompensationHourly rate: $24.18–$25.39 based on education plus a 10% crisis stipend. Eligible for shift differentials:
- Second Shift: $3.25/hour.
- Third Shift: $7.25/hour.
- Weekend Shift: $8.00/hour.
