The Vascular Ultrasound Technologist will perform complex, high-acuity vascular ultrasound procedures in an IAC-accredited environment. This role supports diagnostic accuracy through advanced vascular imaging and collaboration with physicians and clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-acuity vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with IAC standards
- Conduct both routine and complex vascular studies with precision and accuracy
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain exams clearly
- Ensure high-quality imaging and accurate documentation
- Maintain equipment and comply with safety and infection control standards
- Participate in on-call rotation as required
- IAC-accredited lab experience required
- Experience performing complex vascular procedures, including but not limited to:
- Bypass graft mapping
- Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI) studies
- Superior Mesenteric Artery (SMA) studies
- Pseudoaneurysm evaluations
- Vein mapping
- Basic Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) studies
- Carotid ultrasounds
- Arterial studies
- Renal Doppler studies
- Vascular Technician
- Diagnostic vascular ultrasound
- High-acuity vascular imaging
- This is a long-term assignment supporting a permanent vacancy
