We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vascular Ultrasound Technologist for a Long-Term Assignment (LTA) at the a facility in Austin, Texas. This role is situated within a high-acuity diagnostic cardiology environment, requiring a professional who excels in complex vascular procedures and clinical excellence.
Assignment Overview- Shift: Day Shift (06:45 – 16:30)
- On-Call: Yes (Required)
- Location: 1345 Philomena Street, Austin, TX 78723
- Department: Diagnostic Cardiology Anc 001 (13900)
- Perform complex, high-acuity vascular ultrasound examinations in accordance with IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) standards.
- Conduct a variety of non-invasive vascular tests, including but not limited to:
- Carotid duplex imaging.
- Peripheral arterial and venous studies.
- Abdominal vascular imaging (Renal, Mesenteric, Aorta).
- Pre-operative vein mapping.
- Collaborate closely with cardiologists and vascular surgeons to provide accurate diagnostic data for critical care patients.
- Maintain detailed patient records and ensure high-quality imaging for physician interpretation.
- Experience: Proven experience in an IAC-accredited facility is required. Must be comfortable handling complex, high-acuity cases.
- Technical Skill: Proficiency as a Vascular Technician with a deep understanding of vascular hemodynamics.
- Credentials: Appropriate ARDMS (RVT) or CCI (RVS) certification is expected for this level of acuity.
- Availability: Ability to start ASAP and participate in the department’s on-call rotation.
