Relief Community Service Assistant

Job Summary

The Community Service Assistant (CSA) will respond to all issues related to the provision of a low demand, 24 hour emergency shelter. Activities will be directed toward providing a safe therapeutic environment where residents can establish a trusting relationship with each other, the staff and the program. The CSA works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Regular, predictable attendance is considered to be an essential requirement for this position. Other duties may be assigned. May require a flexible work schedule. • High school diploma or GED is required.

• Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

• One year experience working with homeless individuals is preferred.
• Bilingual preferred.

$20.03 an hour plus an additional 10% crisis stipend. Position may be eligible for an additional shift differential pay.

• Second Shift: $3.25
• Third Shift: $4.25
• Weekend Shift: $5.00
