- Accurately and completely report and document status, care rendered, response to care, provider orders, and contacts with patients and/or other healthcare providers.
- Refill medications following ARC refill protocols.
- Accurately and completely room patients, take and document vital signs, and prepare patients for provider exams.
- Follow clinic protocols and directions from the nursing team leader or supervisor.
- Perform diagnostic testing (e.g., EKGs, audiograms, tympanograms, spirometry, visual screenings) with reporting and documentation as appropriate.
- Monitor inventory of medical and/or office supplies and equipment; ensure units/rooms are stocked and not expired; order supplies as needed.
- Review provider refill in-baskets and assist with daily medication refill requests using ARC refill protocol.
- Review EPIC triage call-in baskets for callbacks.
- Clean patient rooms as needed and handle dirty laundry properly.
- Ensure laundry cart is stocked with fresh linens daily.
- May assist providers with sigmoidoscopy exams and cardiac stress testing by setting up equipment, assisting with patient preparation, and cleaning/storing equipment after exams.
- Maintain equipment (autoclaves, sterilization, sterilization of supplies, checking expiration dates, etc.).
- Adhere to all company policies, including OSHA, HIPAA, compliance, and Code of Conduct.
- Maintain regular and dependable attendance; work holiday shifts as required by company policy.
LVN
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; graduation from an accredited school of vocational nursing. - Experience:
Previous ambulatory or acute care experience preferred. - Licensure/Certification:
Current LVN license in Texas and current AHA-approved BLS CPR card; license and CPR certification must be maintained during employment.
Staff Medical Assistant
- Education:
High school diploma or equivalent; one of the following:
Medical Assistant experience, CNA/EMT/PCT or other direct patient care experience, or graduate of a medical assistant program. - Preferred:
Six months or more experience as a Medical Assistant.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Ability to engage others, listen, and adapt responses to meet needs; excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with computers (Windows) and strong organizational abilities; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to understand, recall, and apply oral and/or written instructions; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and deliver quality nursing practices within scope of responsibilities.
- Medical terminology knowledge; ability to administer medications and injections within 90 days of hire (for relevant roles).
Certifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Current BLS CPR required or within 60 days of hire.

Mon-Fri 7:45am-5:00pm
