We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical imaging techniques, with specialized knowledge in obstetric and gynecological ultrasound procedures. As an Ultrasonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations, providing accurate imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment plans, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Duties- Conduct detailed ultrasound examinations across various specialties, with an emphasis on maternal‑fetal medicine and obstetrics/gynecology (Ob/Gyn).
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process clearly, ensuring comfort, and maintaining a professional bedside manner.
- Operate advanced sonography equipment to capture high‑quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions.
- Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or sensitive procedures.
- Interpret preliminary findings and communicate results effectively to physicians for further analysis.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all procedures, images, and patient interactions in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal imaging workflows.
- Stay current with advancements in medical imaging technology, including diagnostic radiology practices and physiology knowledge, to enhance service quality.
- Uphold patient safety standards by adhering to established protocols and ensuring proper equipment calibration and maintenance.
- Provide compassionate patient care by addressing concerns, answering questions, and fostering a supportive environment.
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- 2 years clinical experience in a hospital radiology setting preferred.
- 6 months clinical experience required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Graduate of an AMA‑approved/accredited Ultrasound Program preferred.
- BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support (required prior to independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly).
- ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (required upon hire), or if not obtaining ARRT, must hold two ARDMS certifications and obtain ARRT upon hire.
- ARDMS – American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers.
- Competency in scanning/equipment operation.
- Excellent communication skills.

Texas Health Stephenville, 411 Belknap, Stephenville, TX 76401. - Work hours:
PRN for evening and night ultrasound call Monday‑Friday; typically up to 5 days a month. Occasional day shift coverage Monday‑Friday for PTO coverage. Weekend call occasionally. - Call hours are 5:30 p.m.‑7 a.m. Monday‑Thursday;
Friday 5:30 p.m.‑11 p.m. Weekend call (occasional) 7 a.m.‑7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
$38.99 – $62.70 per hour.
