POSITION SUMMARYTherapist - at Inpatient Hospital, responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Responsible for developing and writing treatment plans and discharge summaries within established time frames and formats.
- Is a liaison with other disciplines, colleagues, physicians, families, and outside agencies.
- Responsible for assessing, designing, structuring, and implementing therapeutic services that best meet the needs of patients and their families.
- Working collaboratively as a treatment team member.
Will work under the direct supervision of the Clinical Services Director.

Requirements:
- Masters Degree in Behavioral Health field
- Must be licensed to practice psychotherapy in the State of Texas (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT) or under supervision for licensure (LMSW, LPC-I, or LMFT-A)
- At least 6 months work experience providing individual, group and family therapy, case management and discharge planning in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric facility
- Familiarity with ethical and legal issues regarding reporting of abuse and neglect.
- Prior inpatient adult psychiatric experience preferred.
