Elevated Kids is a BCBA-owned company that specializes in a natural, play-based approach to Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for toddlers and young children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. This evidence-based approach is called Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention (NDBI) and is considered best practice for young children diagnosed with Autism. The intervention focuses on parent coaching and is delivered in the child’s natural setting, including home and preschool.
JobOverview
We are seeking an enthusiastic ABA-NDBI Therapist who is passionate about early childhood development and teaching through play. The ideal candidate will have experience in early childhood development, developmental delays, ABA, and Autism and be ready to join our rapidly growing team.
Responsibilities- Work closely with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement developmental behavioral intervention utilizing ABA Therapy.
- Provide direct ABA-NDBI therapy with child and family to address individualized, child-centered goals in the child’s natural environment setting, home/preschool.
- Implement treatment plans and goals as developed by BCBA.
- Support and model NDBI strategies and therapy techniques to caregivers/teachers during child’s everyday routines.
- Collect and organize appropriate data and make data-based decisions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field (Required).
- Master’s Degree or currently pursuing Master’s Degree in ABA, Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field (Preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year experience implementing ABA therapy objectives.
- Minimum of 1 year working directly with young children (ages 0-6) diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Background knowledge and experience in child development and developmental delays.
- Experience working with toddlers at risk or diagnosed with Autism or other developmental delay is a plus.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Passion to implement high quality, effective intervention with toddlers and preschool-age children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental delay.
