Position: Certified Professional Clinical Coding Analysis
Location: AUSTIN TX 78727
Duration: 6+ months
Pay Rate: $40.70/Hr on W2
Professional Coder certification required. ICD-10 certification with broad current outpatient billing/coding experience is necessary to assist in operationalizing medical policy development or other projects as specified by the State. The Certified Coder must demonstrate competency in the required knowledge and skills.
Minimum qualifications:
Preferred skills:
- RN or LVN certification
- Strong knowledge of medical and dental terminology
- Experience with health insurance, Medicaid, claims processing, ICD, NCCI, and HCPCS
- Extensive experience with spreadsheet and word processing tools
- Degree in healthcare or medical field
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
