The CoE Coordinator handles responsibilities within the patient development process, focusing on managing medical records, completing impairment ratings, and coordinating with stakeholders. This role involves communication with Authorized Representatives (ARs), IR Physicians, and others to ensure seamless service and advocacy for patient benefits.
This is a hybrid role based in Austin, Texas, with light travel to Las Vegas, Nevada, and Tennessee.
Responsibilities- Medical Records and Testing Coordination:
- Request and review medical records, utilizing clinical expertise to analyze and interpret them.
- Coordinate testing orders and ensure timely processing.
- Communication with ARs and IR Physicians:
- Prepare and submit documentation packets for impairment rating appointments.
- Patient
Education: - Inform and remind patients about impairment ratings and support them during appointments, including in-home support when needed.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and services.
- Track IR progress and update stakeholders regularly.
- Participation in COE:
- Attend meetings and contribute to objectives.
- Customer Service and Advocacy:
- Provide excellent service, manage correspondences, and ensure HIPAA compliance.
- Stakeholder Coordination:
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external partners to optimize patient outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred.
- 1-3 years healthcare experience, proficiency in EMRs, and medical content interpretation.
- Familiarity with healthcare programs like DEEOIC is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software required.
