FP&A Analyst

T1 Energy is bringing solar manufacturing back to the U.S. by building a domestic solar supply chain. Our mission is to invigorate America with scalable, reliable, and low-cost energy. Our fully operational 5GW solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas, can manufacture more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. By the time you finish reading this paragraph, we will have produced two solar panels that will power American homes and fuel domestic AI.

This is not a traditional FP&A role, and it is intentionally not an accounting role. T1 Energy is hiring someone to build the financial decision engine of the company. This role sits at the intersection of corporate financial modeling, cash, and accrual logic, automation, and executive communication. Your job is to make financial reality visible, scalable, and actionable, not to own the close or clean up of the GL.

You'll design models that reflect how the business operates, build systems that automate reporting and forecasting, and translate complex financial signals into clear, compelling insights for leadership. • Build and own corporate financial models that integrate accruals, cash flow, liquidity, and scenario planning.
• Design and maintain automated financial systems for forecasting, reporting, and decision support.
• Partner with engineering, IT, and operations to connect financial logic to underlying data and systems.
• Create executive ready presentations, dashboards, and data visualizations that make complex financial stories obvious.
• Develop forward-looking tools leadership can stress-test in real time.
• Improve data quality, structure and accessibility across finance-related systems.
• Support strategic planning, capital decision, and operational tradeoffs with clear financial insight.

• A systems thinker who happens to be great at finance.
• Comfortable with both accrual and cash-based thinking.
• Technically curious and biased towards automation.
• Strong presenter who can explain financial complexity clearly and confidently.
• Someone who gets frustrated by manual processes and immediately looks for a better way.

• 4+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate finance.
• Deep experience with corporate financial modeling, including cash flow and accrual mechanics.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong comfort with financial systems and data tools.
• Demonstrated experience building dashboards, automated reporting, or finance tools.
• Strong presentation and data visualization skills.
• Experience with BI tools, SQL, Python, or modern finance stack.
