Vice President Finance

We have partnered with a well-known high profile Home Builder in
Austin on a new Vice President of Finance role for their flagship division. This position will have responsibility for the overall financial functions for the Austin/San Antonio market.

This role is focused less on routine accounting functions and more on guiding the division’s financial strategy. The position oversees the division’s overall financial performance and leads the development of forward-looking financial plans, including budgets, forecasts, and evaluations of project or division viability.

MUST HAVE
:
Leadership at either the Director level or VP of Finance level at a Home Builder.

Compensation
:
Competitive market based Base Salary + Bonus + Long Term Incentive Plan (DOE)

• Serves as the primary financial partner and advisor to the Division President.
• Oversees the creation of the division’s annual operating plan and updates quarterly financial projections.
• Produces financial evaluation models for prospective land acquisitions, whether raw parcels or finished lots.
• Supports the development, refinement, and enforcement of division-wide processes and policies aimed at increasing operational accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
• Offers financial oversight of purchasing activities by assessing construction cost data, job cost tracking, margin performance, and related purchasing information to ensure reliability and competitiveness.
• Actively engages in leadership discussions at both the regional and corporate level.
