This position reports to the Assistant Commissioner, Office of Financial Management Shared Services, under the Associate Commissioner, Debt Servicing & Financial Solutions. The position provides strategic leadership for the delivery and modernization of financial management shared services for a diverse portfolio of federal customers. This role sets the operating model for reliable and transparent services, ensuring financial integrity, compliance, and stewardship of public resources.
ResponsibilitiesAs the Deputy Assistant Commissioner, Financial Management Shared Services, you will advance and expand a government wide financial shared services capability supporting Federal agencies of varying sizes, missions, and complexities. You will be responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality financial operations across government through a standardized, reliable shared services model aligned with Federal standards and agency-specific requirements.
Qualifications- Complete a 1-year SES probationary period, unless already completed.
- Complete a Declaration for Federal Employment (https://(Use the "Apply for this Job" box below).) to determine your suitability for Federal employment at the time requested.
- Complete an Executive Branch Personnel Public Financial Disclosure Report annually.
- Undergo appropriate tax checks.

- Have your salary sent to a financial institution of your choice by Direct Deposit / Electronic Funds Transfer.
