SummaryThe Director, High Net Worth Solutions role is dedicated to delivering expert consultative support to financial advisors on a comprehensive array of private market and sophisticated investment solutions tailored to high net worth investors. Key areas of focus include alternative investments and private placements such as private equity, private credit, hedge funds, Delaware Statutory Trusts (DSTs), Qualified Opportunity Zones (QOZs), exchange funds, structured products, long/short direct indexing, options overlays, and other advanced strategies designed to optimize portfolios for affluent clients.
Responsibilities- Collaborate closely with internal teams to evaluate, select, and onboard private market offerings and sophisticated products
- Conduct thorough analyses of investment opportunities, encompassing risk assessments, performance modeling, and due diligence on alternative assets
- Support advisors in presenting and proposing alternative investments
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and emerging investment strategies to drive enhancements in the alternatives platform
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including fund managers and product providers, to broaden the range of available solutions
Candidates should possess deep expertise in alternative investments and non-traditional strategies. As this is primarily a consultative role for financial advisors, outstanding communication and presentation skills are required to effectively translate intricate concepts into clear, actionable advice for financial advisors and their clients. A strategic mindset combined with a client-centric approach to wealth management solutions will enable success in identifying and implementing tailored investment strategies.
Proficiency in relevant financial software, data analysis tools, and regulatory compliance frameworks is crucial for navigating the nuances of alternative investments. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while adeptly managing multiple priorities will ensure high-impact contributions to the team.
- Undergraduate degree required;
Master’s degree preferred. - 8-10 years of experience in HNW wealth management and advice delivery.
- FINRA Series 7 and 63/65 (or 66) - Can be obtained within 6 months of start date
- CFA required. JD Preferred
- Ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time in office environment well lit
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
- Position is located in Austin, TX or Tempe, AZ office. Must be able to work in the office during scheduled hours
- Travel Required; 25%
