Real Estate Investment Underwriting Expert ,whereyourinstitutionalknowledgeinacquisitions,underwriting,andassetmanagementwilldirectlyshapethestandardfordealevaluation.
Inthisrole,youwillserveasanessentialevaluatorofcommercialrealestateunderwriting,providingexpertinsightsandstructuredfeedbacktoelevatetheinvestmentprocess.
- Analyzeandreviewdetailedunderwritingmodels,discountedcashflows(DCF),andproformasforanalyticalsoundnessandadherencetomarketrealities.
- Assessinvestmentcommitteematerials,acquisitionmemos,anddealrationalesforinstitutional-graderigorandclarity.
- Evaluaterisk-adjustedreturns,debtstructures,capitalstacks,andprojectedexitstrategiestoensurerobustinvestmentanalysis.
- Scoreandbenchmarkunderwritingpackagesagainststandardizedinvestmentcriteriatoensureconsistencyandquality.
- Deliverclear,concisewrittenfeedbackidentifyinggapsinanalysis,marketassumptions,pricing,orriskassessment.
- Contributesector-specificexpertiseacrossmultifamily,industrial,office,retail,andspecialtyassetclasses.
- Supportthecalibrationofqualitystandardsforjuniorandseniorunderwritingprofessionals,directlyimpactingthetraininganddevelopmentprocess.
- 5+yearsofexperienceincommercialrealestateacquisitions,underwriting,asset management,REPE,REITs,orstructuredrealestatefinance.
- Proficiencyinbuildingorreviewing
ARGUSandadvanced
Excelunderwritingmodels. - Expertisewithleases,rentrolls,T-12,operatingexpenses(OPEX),capital expenditures(Cap Ex),debtsizing,andinvestmentreturnsmetrics(IRR,EMx,CoC).
- Strongabilitytoevaluaterealasseteconomics,marketcomparabledata,anddiversecapitalstructures.
- Keenanalyticalmindsetwithapassionforbothwrittenandverbalcommunication,criticalforprovidingactionablefeedback.
- Demonstratedexperiencewithhedgefundorassetmanagementenvironments.
- Exceptionalattentiontodetailandcommitmenttoinstitutionalreportingstandards.
- Directexperiencewith
REPEorREITinvestmentunderwriting. - Advancedproficiencywith
ARGUSEnterprise. - CFA,CAIA,orotherrecognizedrealestatefinancecertifications.
