The Treasury Specialist supports the day-to-day cash management and treasury activities of the organization. This role focuses on transaction processing, banking platform administration, and payment and deposit support while working closely with the Accounting and Treasury teams. It requires understanding of treasury operations and internal controls. This non-exempt position is required to partner with all levels/departments within the organization and offshore accounting team;

therefore, excellent verbal/written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills and accountability are a must. This role reports to the Corporate Controller and salary will be based on experience. 5 days a week in office is required.

ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Process wire and ACH transactions within company banking platforms, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls.
  • Complete verbal confirmations for incoming and outgoing wire transactions in accordance with company policies and banking procedures.
  • Share wire instructions to external parties using secure email methods as requested.
  • Assist in resolving user access issues and basic system errors within banking platforms.
  • Support the Treasury team in opening and maintaining corporate bank accounts.
  • Collect daily payments and process remote deposits through the company’s accounting software.
  • Prepare, process and deliver bank teller deposits as needed.
  • Assist the Accounting department with various treasury-related activities, including providing banking information, supporting positive pay processes, printing checks, and addressing other treasury support needs.
  • Monitor assigned treasury-related activities within the company’s accounting system.
  • Help maintain organized records and documentation related to treasury transactions and banking activities.
  • Adhere to company policies internal controls, and regulatory requirements to safeguard company funds and data.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Business Administration).
  • Experience in corporate treasury, cash management, banking operations, or related finance function.
  • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with banking platforms and ERP systems preferred.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Ability to analyze, investigate and resolve issues while maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and data integrity.
  • Self-directed, reliable, action-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a corporate environment.
  • Professional, approachable, and able to work effectively with all levels of the organization and external banking partners.
  • Positive attitude with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
