Join our customer's team as a part-time Auditor/Accounting Expert, contributing your specialized expertise to a pioneering AI training and data labelling project. In this role, you will leverage your advanced auditing knowledge to ensure high-quality, accurate financial data that powers next-generation AI solutions. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate in an innovative environment, influencing projects with global impact and expanding into new jurisdictions.
Responsibilities- Review and assess financial statements for completeness and compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, or UK GAAP.
- Apply updated disclosure checklist experience to validate the accuracy of complex financial data.
- Label and annotate financial data with precision, supporting AI model training and validation initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to refine data quality standards and best practices.
- Communicate findings and insights effectively through both written and verbal channels.
- Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure current auditing standards are applied to all project tasks.
- Assist in expanding the scope of AI data labelling projects to additional global jurisdictions as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5–10 years of auditing experience, with active involvement in financial statement audits in the past 2 years.
- Direct, recent experience using financial disclosure checklists.
- Solid understanding and hands-on application of IFRS and at least one of US/UK GAAP.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver on remote, part-time projects.
- Experience working with diverse, remote, and cross-functional teams.
- Prior involvement in AI, data labelling, or technology-driven audit assignments.
- Familiarity with multiple regulatory environments and a willingness to adapt to new jurisdictions.
- Exposure to large-scale financial data projects or piloting innovative audit technologies.
