Plant Accounting Manager

Reporting to the Plant Controller, this role will be responsible for monthly reporting of results, establishing and tracking key performance metrics, implementation of costing methodologies and driving improvements through analysis of results to drive critical decisions around financial reporting and expense management. This role is operational in nature; therefore it is closely aligned with manufacturing operations.

• Key participant in the month-end financial close process preparing and approving journal entries, analysis of monthly results including impacts of volume, productivity, spending and cost reductions.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual supplemental reporting KPIs.
• Key business partner for operations focused on improving both financial and operational processes to support better decision making.
• Partner with supply chain and strategic sourcing to proactively anticipate demand changes, manufacturing capacity upgrades are proactively identified, annual savings programs are being actioned and tracked.
• Internal control documentation around cost accounting and inventory including testing of key controls as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Accounting, Finance or business-related field.
• Minimum of 4 years experience
• Strong Microsoft Excel and ERP system experience
• Keen ability to know your audience. Highly cross functional and visible role within the organization.
