PositionDescription:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Funds Transfer Pricing Manager to oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of the bank’s Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework and loan pricing strategies. This role is critical in aligning product pricing with balance sheet strategy, risk, and profitability goals. This individual will be the Bank’s key personnel for teaching and training associations and employees on transfer pricing concepts and methodology.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in FTP concepts, strong financial modeling skills in Excel, and the ability to communicate effectively with both internal stakeholders and external parties. This is a high-visibility role that involves direct support to relationship managers, product teams, and finance leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage the bank’s Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) framework, ensuring accurate internal funding charges that align with interest rate risk and liquidity management objectives.
- Lead the loan pricing process, providing tools, guidance, and support to relationship managers and credit teams.
- Develop and maintain Excel‑based pricing models and analytics to support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Provide regular presentations to senior management and business lines to explain pricing assumptions, strategies, and profitability impacts.
- Partner with Treasury, Finance, ALM, Lending, and Product teams to ensure consistency in pricing methodology and alignment with broader financial strategy.
- Train and support associations and Capital Markets team on FTP principles, and pricing tools.
- Train and educate variety of stakeholders on transfer pricing concepts.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to evaluate and refine pricing models based on market conditions, liquidity considerations, and capital costs.
- Monitor and assess the competitive landscape to ensure loan pricing remains market‑aligned and sustainable.
- Support internal audits, regulatory exams, and model validations related to FTP and pricing methodologies.
- Perform special project work as directed by the Director of Lending Products, Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced calculations, pivot tables, etc.
- Ability to work with large sets of data and convert information into presentable info.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with interest rate risk management, capital markets, and lending products is strongly preferred.

- Enthusiasm for teaching and training financial concepts.
