A high-profile Professional Services firm representing institutional investors, bankruptcy trustees, and companies in major financial disputes is seeking a Controller.

Salary: $100,000–$140,000 (Austin, TX Metropolitan Area)

• Oversee all day‑to‑day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and month‑end close
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners
• Utilize Quick Books Online to manage and maintain accurate financial records
• Provide financial analysis and reporting to support management decision‑making
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, as applicable

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience
• Professional services industry experience required
• Legal industry experience highly desired
• Strong proficiency with Quick Books Online
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Detail‑oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to work in‑office on a full‑time basis
