Job Overview
Lendzi is actively searching for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our growing team. The CFO leads the finance and accounting functions of Lendzi, overseeing the strategic and day-to-day needs of the business.
LocationThis position can be located at either of our offices in Austin, Texas or Boca Raton, Florida. A potential hybrid schedule is also available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all financial planning and analysis including building the financial model, creating KPIs and levers, preparing budgets, and creating reports (e.g., budget vs. actuals).
- Using financial modeling and analysis, assist with growing the company and rightsizing, if needed.
- Oversee the two outsourced Accounting firms.
- Formally review the financial performance of the company with the CEO and Managing Partner on a monthly basis.
- Procure capital investments for the company and complete corresponding due diligence.
- Provide oversight of compliance, covenant work and refinancing.
- Provide guidance on the team structure, headcount, employee commission programs, etc.
- Manage performance vs quotas and provide corresponding analysis.
- Analyze marketing activities including pricing negotiations, conversion rates of campaigns, and the go-to-market strategy.
- Comply with all Lendzi’s policies including the TCPA policy.
- Abide by all laws and regulations.
- Complete special projects as needed.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Strong understanding of risk management.
- Strategic thinking, particularly to improve financial performance.
- Strong understanding of compliance including regulatory standards, tax requirements, and financial disclosure standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior analytical skills including financial statement and data analysis.
- Highly collaborative.
- Highest level of integrity.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of Intuit Quick Books is preferred.
- Knowledge of Zoho CRM and Centrex is a plus.
- Three or more years demonstrated success as a Controller or CFO.
- CPA is highly preferred.
- Experience in the business loan/cash advance/alternative financing industry is a plus.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university is preferred.
- Competitive annual base salary ($175,000 - $200,000) and the opportunity for performance-based bonuses
