We’re looking for a Risk Analyst who is obsessed with delivering world-class service. This individual will implement processes and tools to mitigate fraud and credit risk in ACH and Credit Card transactions to protect our customers and their customers.
Responsibilities and DutiesNew Customer Underwriting:
- Ensure new account applications comply with ePayPolicy’s underwriting policies.
- Complete new customer underwriting checklists for Know Your Business (KYB) and Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements.
- Activate new accounts with appropriate credit limits and funding timelines.
Risk Analysis:
- Review automated transaction risk rules to assess potential risks to customers and their electronic payments.
- Establish and update customer transaction limits based on their financial statements and transaction history.
- Propose and implement new techniques to identify fraudulent customers.
- Engage with new product planning and anticipate methods of exploitation to develop policy to mitigate risk.
Communication:
- Respond to payment processor requests for customer-related risk information.
- Respond to customer queries and concerns professionally.
- Navigate difficult conversations with customers, enforcing risk protocols while avoiding reputational risk to the organization.
- Consider yourself a problem solver.
- Have a passion to help customers.
- Have experience with underwriting and onboarding new customers for payment processing.
- Understand the risks involved in processing transactions through the ACH and credit card networks.
- Have experience with automated verification tools and customer risk models.
- Enjoy developing standardized, replicable processes that can be implemented across an organization.

We operate on a hybrid schedule for in-office employees. Standard schedules are three days per week in the office, though the cadence and days are determined by each team and manager.
