Chief Financial Officer

As a key member of the Executive Management team, the Chief Financial Officer will report to the CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall management of the company. The CFO will have primary day-to-day responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the company. This will include direct responsibility for accounting, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, deal analysis and negotiations, investor relationships, and partnering with other leaders on compliance matters.

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the organization’s fiscal function and performance.
• Participate in the development of the company’s plans and programs as a strategic partner.
• Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action.
• Develop credibility for the finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the CEO and parent company, and other senior executives in performing their responsibilities.
• Enhance and/or develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation.
• Establish credibility throughout the organization and with the parent company and CEO as an effective developer of solutions to business challenges.
• Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the financial discipline.
• Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision making issues affecting the organization.
• Manage banking relationships as well as initiate appropriate strategies to enhance cash position.
• Be an advisor from the financial perspective on any contracts into which the Company may enter.
• Provide leadership in the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
• Direct and oversee all aspects of the Finance and Accounting functions of the organization (including Financial Planning, Accounting, Audit, Tax, Treasury, and Payroll), providing hands‑on leadership.
• Direct and oversee Supply Chain Management and purchasing practices of the Company.
• Direct and oversee Facilities Management function and activities of the Company.
• Gather and prepare financial information and other data for senior management. Provide recommendations and suggest alternative actions.
• Apply knowledge of external economic factors to ensure optimization of financial opportunities.

• BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA highly desirable.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required.
• 10+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles with prior CFO experience required.
• Experience with a minimum company size of $1B annual revenue.
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Ability to synthesize and present complex data.
• Ability to foster and cultivate business opportunities and partnerships.
• Ability to create and assess financial statements and budget documents.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions.
• Successful experience with raising capital and investor relations.

Travel to company, customer and vendor sites, including some that are out of state may be required.
