My client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager - Europe to join their global tax team, with the position based in Germany. The role primarily supports German operations while providing oversight for tax matters across European entities. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in EU transfer pricing, a deep understanding of tax regulations, and a proactive approach to compliance and planning.

Reporting to the Tax Director in the United States, the Senior Tax Manager will collaborate with various departments and external advisors to manage tax risks, drive process improvements, and support the clients growth in Europe.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

The Senior Tax Manager's responsibilities include leading corporate income tax compliance and reporting for Germany and other European jurisdictions. They will oversee income tax provision processes in coordination with global teams, monitor transfer pricing policies, and ensure alignment with OECD guidelines. The role involves engaging with local advisors to manage compliance, assisting with tax audits, and providing support for VAT and other indirect tax matters.

Additionally, the manager will identify opportunities related to EU tax incentives and collaborate on process improvements and tax risk management strategies.andlt;/pandgt; andlt;pandgt;

Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and have at least 8 years of tax experience, particularly in European and German corporate taxation. Strong EU transfer pricing experience, knowledge of German tax law, and indirect tax compliance are essential. Multinational corporate environment experience, fluency in English, and German language skills are strongly preferred.
