Accountant, Financial Analyst, Accounts Receivable​/ Collections

Compal is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant – Finance & Banking Operations to support daily financial operations with a strong focus on banking processes, cash management, and transactional accounting.

• Support daily banking processes and financial operations, including cash receipts, disbursements, and bank transactions.
• Process and monitor bank activity to ensure transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies between bank statements and general ledger activity.
• Support setup, maintenance, and monitoring of banking systems and payment platforms.
• Prepare and post basic journal entries under supervision.
• Assist with monthly close activities, including account reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.

• Follow established internal controls and financial procedures related to banking and cash activities.
• Maintain organized documentation for bank transactions, reconciliations, and audit support.
• Assist with internal and external audit requests related to cash and banking processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Accounting, Finance, Procurement, Operations) to resolve transaction issues.
• Support preparation of basic financial reports and data requests for management review.
• Contribute to the documentation and improvement of finance and banking processes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• 1+ year of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or banking operations.
• Exposure to banking processes and system-based transaction processing.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial operations.
• Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with ERP or financial systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes.

• Experience supporting banking systems, payment platforms, or treasury-related processes.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or consumer electronics environment.
• Internship or early-career experience in accounting, finance, or banking operations.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Accurate and timely processing of banking and financial transactions.
• Well-documented and reconciled cash activity.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability for assigned tasks.
• Willingness to learn and grow within a finance and accounting organization.
