Fund Accountant

A growing investment firm with a sterling reputation in Austin is seeking a detail-oriented Fund Accountant to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and has a strong understanding of fund structures, financial reporting, and investor allocations.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple investment funds
• Handle daily accounting operations including journal entries, reconciliations, and NAV calculations
• Assist in capital call and distribution processes
• Maintain investor allocations and waterfall models
• Coordinate with auditors and tax professionals during annual audits and filings
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Work closely with portfolio managers and internal teams to provide financial insights

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, audit, or tax
• Experience with fund administration software (e.g., Investran, eFront, Yardi, or similar) preferred
• Advanced Excel skills
• CPA or CPA-track a plus
