Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Analyst – Credit Operations & Services to join our team. This role monitors and coordinates the flow of information and documentation related to participation loans, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance across all required processes. The analyst interprets and applies monitoring requirements for individual loans and supports compliance and documentation standards for syndicated credit facilities. Working under limited supervision, the analyst exercises sound independent judgment and escalates when appropriate, offering well-reasoned recommendations.

This role functions as a key contributor within a collaborative team environment, supporting colleagues and maintaining strong communication across the organization. The analyst follows established processes and internal controls to ensure timely, efficient handling of credit operations activities. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable navigating complex credit documentation and workflow requirements.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Collect and organize post-close loan documents for review, input pertinent compliance, covenants or financial ratio data into the data tracking system, and determine sufficiency to confirm regulatory compliance.
  • Review loan agreements, credit documents, and amendments to identify and extract covenant and compliance requirements; update covenant tracking systems and store in client files for regulatory and audit purposes. Use sound judgment to assess covenants and risk indicators and determine escalation needs.
  • Monitor Shared Sites and the Compliance Inbox to review incoming legal and compliance documents, ensuring timely tracking and adherence to covenants, legal agreements, and annual review requirements.
  • Identify and communicate deficiencies and overdue items, including failed financial ratios, to Credit and Lending Officers; escalate as appropriate with recommended actions.
  • Review loan records for compliance; identify overdue items and determine follow-up actions or escalation.
  • Create, review, and distribute compliance reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc basis. Research and request items from Credit Office or Lending Officer to clear overdue items.
  • Distribute legal documents to sub-participants and manage portals for Associates where FCBT is lead; update relevant legal and credit documents on the site for dissemination.
  • Support team members to collect and organize loan closing information for review and analysis and input pertinent loan data into a Loan Deal Sheet; ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in the electronic documentation delivery process for internal and external audits.
  • Prepare documents and correspondence for reports as required.
  • Review credit desk analysis forms for upcoming legal amendments and waiver notifications.
  • Complete special projects as assigned, including testing new systems or proposing changes to procedures to better align with business needs and compliance monitoring requirements.
Skills & Requirements

Knowledge of various types of credit offerings and the procedures required for administration of related loans. Knowledge of loan administration practices, including legal document review, credit monitoring and related documentation. General knowledge of accounting/financial systems.
