Salary: 120K + depending on experience
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including payables/receivables, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The Finance Manager will manage the accounting, prepare financial statements, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Provide financial analysis and decision support to senior management.
- Reconcile payments in Salesforce, ensuring accurate commission payments.
- Execute and track payroll, including vendor and contractor payroll/invoices/payables.
- Track and manage compensation plans, bonuses, SPIFFs, and true-ups.
- Track and manage cash, deposits, and cashflow reporting.
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and clawback management.
- Track, invoice, and collect volume bonuses.
- Report and manage expenses, including credit card management and categorizations.
- Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
- Oversee 401k management and related activities.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
- Track revenue and distribute profit shares.
- Utilize Quickbooks for financial management and reporting.
- Manage family office operations, including financial planning, investment management, and estate planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with financial software and tools, including Salesforce and Quickbooks.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a family office setting is a significant plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
