Location:

Austin, TX (Full-time, Onsite)

Salary: 120K + depending on experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, including payables/receivables, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in finance and accounting. The Finance Manager will manage the accounting, prepare financial statements, and provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Provide financial analysis and decision support to senior management.
  • Reconcile payments in Salesforce, ensuring accurate commission payments.
  • Execute and track payroll, including vendor and contractor payroll/invoices/payables.
  • Track and manage compensation plans, bonuses, SPIFFs, and true-ups.
  • Track and manage cash, deposits, and cashflow reporting.
  • Manage accounts receivable, collections, and clawback management.
  • Track, invoice, and collect volume bonuses.
  • Report and manage expenses, including credit card management and categorizations.
  • Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Oversee 401k management and related activities.
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping and accounting records.
  • Track revenue and distribute profit shares.
  • Utilize Quickbooks for financial management and reporting.
  • Manage family office operations, including financial planning, investment management, and estate planning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with financial software and tools, including Salesforce and Quickbooks.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a family office setting is a significant plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
