The primary function of this role is to oversee and carry out the accurate and timely trade execution of client investment accounts.
Detailed Job FunctionsTrading
Managing the daily trade blotter and executing transactions:
- Cash management
- Tax optimizing trades
Operations
Maintaining and improving all areas of trading operations:
- Trading system database maintenance
- Continuous improvement to trading systems and procedures
- Particularly the flow of investment instruction related information throughout the organization
- Evaluate and deploy new technologies
Account Audits & Review
Proactive reviews of investment accounts including coordinating monthly advisor account audits:
- Ensure accounts are within tolerance of risk/return targets and proactively flag significant drift to advisors
- Tax considerations
- Must Haves:
- Extensive trade execution experience (ideally using Orion Eclipse)
- Advanced Excel and Google Sheets experience
- Database management
- Nice to Haves:
- Programming and advanced database experience
