Job Summary:

As an experienced Investment Analyst at Texas PSF Corporation, you’ll play a key role in researching markets, analyzing investment opportunities, and supporting senior investment officers in portfolio management. This is a hands-on role where you'll apply advanced financial analysis, market research, and investment modeling to real-world decisions, working alongside experienced professionals in both public and private credit markets.

We're looking for someone with 2+ years of experience in finance or investments who is ready to take ownership of complex projects and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic investment team. If you're detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to deepen your expertise in credit-focused asset management, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

Market & Investment Research

• Scan public and private markets for emerging trends, risks, and opportunities
• Conduct macro and microeconomic research to support investment decisions
• Monitor market movements for public investments and track private investment performance

Financial Analysis & Modeling

• Lead financial analysis of investment opportunities, including full valuation modeling
• Support senior team members with scenario analysis, data validation, and return modeling
• Create reports that assess liquidity, portfolio risk, and credit fundamentals
• Support due diligence processes by compiling research, maintaining deal flow tracking, and drafting internal materials
• Evaluate current and new credit investments alongside senior investment officers and AVPs
• Track and interpret investment performance data, identifying risks and key trends

Operations & Administrative Support

• Manage investment calendars, reporting timelines, and diligence meetings
• Prepare investment memos, presentations, and insights for internal review
• Maintain thorough records for both public and private credit strategies

What We’re Looking For

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, M&A, private credit, or similar analytical roles. Strong financial modeling skills are required.

Technical Skills:

• Advanced Excel modeling proficiency
• Familiarity with Bloomberg, Pitch Book, Power BI, or Tableau
• Strong understanding of credit metrics and capital structures

Nice to Haves:

• Progress toward CFA, CAIA, or equivalent finance certifications is a plus
• PowerPoint and Presentation skills
• Hybrid work model – Four days in-office, one day remote
• Office located in Downtown Austin, Texas
• Exposure to senior professionals and complex deal structures
• Travel:
  Occasional domestic and international (~10%)
