Finance & Accounting Manager — Austin, TX — Full-time, $80K + benefits.

Location:

Jaspr House – 20 minutes west of downtown Austin. This is a local role in Austin, TX; you’ll be working at our beautiful office alongside a small, creative, fast-moving team.

Hi, I’m Mike — founder of Jaspr. We build high-end, design-forward air purifiers that clean the air in homes and businesses across North America.

• Work from Jaspr House most days with our team
• Manage bookkeeping in Xero — reconciliations, AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close.
• Oversee inventory + COGS tracking across Shopify and Numeral.
• Handle sales tax compliance (we use Numeral to simplify this).
• Run monthly reporting: P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.
• Partner with our fractional CFO (my dad!) for forecasting, budgeting, and planning.
• Keep our financials up to date and transparent as we grow.

• Shopify runs the business.
• Xero for accounting.
• Numeral for sales tax compliance.
• Refersion for affiliate payouts.
• Simple product mix:
  Jaspr Pro and replacement filters, sold in the U.S. and Canada.

• 5+ years experience in accounting/finance, ideally with e-commerce, consumer goods, or manufacturing.
• Comfortable in Xero, Shopify, and (bonus) Numeral.
• Detail-oriented but able to zoom out into finance and planning.
• Someone who thrives in a small team, wears multiple hats, and is excited to grow with us.
