Origis Energy is seeking an Operational Performance Engineering Manager and Operational Performance Engineering Director to join our team, both reporting to the Senior Director, Performance Engineering & Optimization. The individuals will develop and lead strategy, direction and implementation of all technical processes and procedures relating to operational fleet performance. The roles will have a hand in crafting the overall performance strategy for the organization and define the technical critical processes, systems, and tools that will allow the overall performance engineering group to drive the highest value per MWh possible across all operating renewable energy assets.

The Performance Engineering team provides a technical interface in developing a cohesive bond between our Remote Operations Center (ROC), Field Operations Teams and Asset Management.

• Direct oversight and responsibility for all operational performance engineering activities for both Origis Energy and 3rd party assets
• Provide leadership and advance the team’s effectiveness across asset management, field operation and ROC
• Perform analyses to evaluate the uncertainty of existing PV and BESS energy performance models
• Develop new and improved models and tools to reduce PV and BESS underperformance and streamline notification and direction of the Field Operations team
• Provide operational feedback loop into design, engineering and finance teams
• Utilize operational performance data to work with supply chain and engineering teams to influence AVL and final equipment selections
• Ownership of daily, weekly, monthly plant performance reporting
• Ownership of operational Expected Energy definition and as‑built energy production modeling
• Translate commercial and operational objectives into well‑defined initiatives that integrate into the company and department KPIs
