SWPPP Inspector (Stormwater) | Austin, TX
A well established environmental consulting firm with a growing stormwater and SWPPP practice is looking to add a SWPPP Inspector (Stormwater) to support stormwater compliance projects across the Austin area.
This role plays a key part in ensuring construction projects remain compliant with stormwater regulations through regular inspections and documentation. The firm’s stormwater practice continues to grow and this position offers long term career development within a rapidly expanding team.
Responsibilities- Perform SWPPP inspections on active construction sites
- Inspect erosion and sediment control measures (BMPs)
- Prepare inspection reports and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to address compliance issues
- Monitor site conditions and ensure compliance with stormwater permits
- Assist project managers with compliance tracking and reporting
- Hourly compensation around $25/hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
- Eligible for End of Year bonus based on company performance
- Spot bonus opportunities
- Company vehicle provided
- Based in Austin, TX
- Local project work across the Austin region
- Reports directly to the Stormwater Practice Director
- Experience inspecting erosion and sediment control BMPs on construction sites
- Familiarity with stormwater compliance and permitting requirements
- Ability to work outdoors on active construction sites
- Strong communication and documentation skills
