You will be trusted to:- Perform computer-aided drafting of survey data, including plotting field data and deed record information.
- Prepare survey maps and plats.
- Support field crew activities to ensure efficient field survey operations. Interprets survey or engineering drawings for field personnel.
- Write field note descriptions for review by a Registered Professional Land Surveyor.
- Research county deed records and tax appraisal office records to determine ownership.
- Assist Survey Field Crew in performing survey field work as necessary.
- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in freshman year or has completed freshman year and will be starting sophomore year.
- Knowledge of Civil3D and other Autodesk products.
- Knowledge of Leica Infinity.
- Knowledge of coordinate geometry calculations.
- Knowledge of the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and other Office Suite applications.
- Knowledge of researching, reading, interpreting and understanding deeds and legal descriptions.
- Knowledge of field surveying procedures with conventional total stations, GPS, differential levels, laser scanning, etc.
