You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers, landscape architects, project managers, and cross-functional internal teams, as well as external consultants, contractors, vendors, and permitting authorities, to support integrated project delivery. Your responsibilities will include developing and reviewing plans, calculations, specifications, narratives, and digital models related to site layout, grading, drainage, utilities, roadways, and landscape systems. You’ll produce and coordinate visual materials such as site plans, diagrams, renderings, graphics, and 3D models to clearly communicate design intent.
You’ll lead and participate in multidisciplinary coordination efforts, review consultant and vendor submittals, and support 30%, 60%, and 90% design reviews with stakeholders. Throughout the project lifecycle, you’ll participate in site walks, field verifications, and design reviews to confirm installations align with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards, while proactively communicating project status, risks, and next steps. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field such as Architecture 3–5+ years of professional experience supporting site, civil, or landscape design for industrial, high-tech, or large-scale development projects (e.g., manufacturing, semiconductor, solar, battery, or similar facilities)
Experience with site and master planning, including grading, drainage, pavements, utilities, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and integrated site/landscape systems Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, Rhino, and Adobe Photoshop with the ability to produce construction and permitting documentation Familiarity with applicable site, civil, and landscape codes, standards, and permitting processes, or a strong willingness to learn
Preferred Experience with hydrology and stormwater modeling tools; GIS experience (e.g., ArcGIS) is a plus Strong portfolio demonstrating technical documentation, site or landscape design, and visual communication skills (if applicable to background) Ability to translate conceptual designs into accurate, constructible documents Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing requirements, and work independently with minimal oversight Awareness of sustainable, resilient, and environmentally responsive site and infrastructure design strategies
