ESS Test Technician; On-site

We are seeking an ESS Test Technician to perform operational and environmental testing on complex electronic production components and subassemblies. This role supports both Engineering and Production teams through the setup and operation of specialized environmental test equipment. ESS stands for Environmental Stress Screening.

• Set up and operate vibration systems and thermal cycling equipment to perform moderate to highly complex environmental tests involving temperature and vibration
• Use monitoring and control instrumentation including thermocouples, data loggers, accelerometer systems, pressure and airflow instrumentation
• Operate a wide range of test and measurement equipment from automated test stands to oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic analyzers, and other electronic instruments
• Conduct simulated environmental tests by following established test methods, engineering procedures, and verbal instructions
• Assist higher level technicians with more complex testing activities
• Compile and process product data into complete data packages including quality documentation and defect recording
• Maintain detailed test logbooks with accurate test information
• Perform additional duties as required to support testing operations

Required Skills and Experience

• Direct experience working with Unholtz Dickie or similar vibration systems supporting engineering qualification testing
• Experience developing or working with vibration profiles
• Hands on experience with Thermotron temperature chambers
• Basic computer skills within a Microsoft Windows environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy
• High School diploma or equivalent

Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour (Depending on experience and qualifications)
