Position: Sr. Staff Cellular Engineer, Network Engineering
What to Expect

Specialize in private and public cellular technologies in an enterprise, retail, and manufacturing environment. This role will provide private & public wireless solution design, implementation, and support. The engineer will ensure compliance to established system architecture, regulations, and security policies, follow standards and best practices, and author and maintain support documentation.

What You'll Do

* Provide strategic leadership and vision for cellular infrastructure for private and public networks

* Innovate and identify cellular network solutions to meet the use case demands of manufacturing, warehouses, SSD, vehicle and optimus

* Design, implement and support 5G/LTE Radio Access & Core network (end to end)

* Perform onsite surveys , RF design and solutions

* Perform system capacity and performance planning to scale private network use cases

* Monitor, analyze and report metrics of wireless solution

* Troubleshooting network problems related to latency, client connectivity and mobility

* Manage and grow the cellular team and provide coaching to execute the growth of infrastructure demands

* Must be able to work occasional weekends, after hours, and holidays

* 15% travel required as necessary

What You'll Bring

* 15+ years of experience in 5G/LTE & CBRS Radio Access Network

* Experience with indoor/DAS/Small cells implementation

* Subject matter expert and thorough understanding of private networks/CBRS band implementation and its dependencies

* Experience in deploying and scaling private wireless networks and use case integrations.

* Experience with IP networking, L2/L3 network protocols, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, QOS, NAT.

* Extensive experience with RF principles, cellular, and RF tools

* Experience with private wireless client development and POC (i.e., AGV, wireless torque tools, laptop, tablets, scanner, cameras, PLC communications)

* Experience with enterprise wireless solution

* Experience with developing scripts to automate infrastructure deployment and collect metrics.

* Experience with private cellular network vendors (Ericsson, Nokia) is a plus
