Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to support commercial fire protection projects. This role focuses on designing code-compliant sprinkler systems, preparing drawings and calculations, and coordinating with project teams to ensure accurate and efficient system layouts.
Key Responsibilities:
Design fire sprinkler systems per applicable codes and project requirements
Prepare drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material lists
Coordinate designs with project stakeholders and installation teams
Review submittals and maintain project documentation
Support projects through design and construction phases
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent industry experience
Strong background in commercial fire sprinkler design
Proficiency with CAD / BIM tools (Auto Sprink or similar preferred)
Knowledge of NFPA standards and hydraulic calculations
Ability to work independently and within a team
NICET certification is a plus
